Dear Admissions,
My name is Princess Allura from planet Altea. I write to you today to request admittance to your facilities for a time.
Over the course of 10,000 years, the war with the Galra has taken from so many people, myself included. I have lost my family, my planet, and almost the entirety of my people to the war. But I write to you not because of what I have lost, as I am not more deserving of a vacation from all of this than any of the others who have had everything taken from them, but because of what I have to gain.
In my position of leadership, as head of the Voltron coalition, and a member of Voltron itself, there are often decisions of great importance that must be made, and whose effects reach far beyond myself. Recently, a few of these decisions I have made have lead to disastrous consequences, and although I know I am not at fault for the evil acts of others, it is undeniable that my lapse of judgment played a part in these events. I believe by taking some time to reflect and relax, I can come back as a better, more capable member of my team, and help bring this fight against the Galra to an end.
