- Please read the rules and the application section of the FAQ before applying.
- Make sure your application is properly formatted! Check for typos, broken html links etc.
- Post your full application in a comment to this post. Linked applications will not be processed.
- You may apply for up to two characters per application cycle.
- You can only play one character per canon, regardless if the characters interact.
- Once accepted, follow the instructions in your acceptance notice. You will not be accepted into the main comm until you've gone through all the steps.
- If you've been rejected, you may not apply again until the next application cycle.
There is currently a character cap of four per player. If you're already playing four characters, you will have to drop someone before bringing in anyone new.

Canon point: Where are they taken from?
Powers, if any: Short and sweet, for our reference only. If your character doesn't have powers, write N/A.
Application letter: In no shorter than two paragraphs, write a letter from your character as to why they should go to Kollo. Keep in mind things such as character voice, canon point, their motivations for why they'd like a vacation, what they would and wouldn't say to plead their case.

Canon point: After being rescued from a Nightmare
Powers, if any: Viola is a Changeling, defined more closely to World of Darkness than the old doppleganger kind. More specifically, she is a Raven Harpy. It comes with her own abilities.
-limited shapeshifting: Can shift between a fully human form and her more harpy-like form, which basically replaces her arms with wide black wings and legs with dark gray bird's legs (she still has hands in this form). She is capable of flying in harpy form, and is somewhat lighter than her size suggests.
-Keen eyesight and hearing: Slightly better eyesight than your average human, and darkness does not dampen this. Can focus her hearing to roughly double that of a human's sensitivity.
Application letter: To whom this may concern:
You know, I've always been intrigued by mysteries. Call it a yearning to understand the world and everything in it. I spent much of my younger days cooped up in my mansion, because my parents were afraid that if I ran around in my harpy form, I'd be killed. But since then, I've been yearning to learn more about the world that I've settled in. And learning about another world entirely? Sounds wonderful to me!
The tension between the humans and the changelings and the fey has gotten pretty thick, though. So that's why my parents hid me for so long before I was ready to blend in. Nothing taught me that more than the incident that struck my home not too long ago, when a supposed human friend of mine inflicted a curse upon me to steal an old book I had. But had it not been for another friend of mine, human and changeling alike, working together, I'd be sleeping forever.
Kinda a lame way to die, don't you think?
But that also meant that I'm right to believe that we could all coexist. I'm holding onto that belief even with everything that's gone on in my life and in my parent's life. Hades, I'm even the child of a human father and harpy mother! I'd rather learn about the world, so people have nothing to fear. Fear's a natural thing of the world, but with understanding we don't have to let it coop us up. But while I've had better freedom to leave my house and explore the world, I've also been looking for interesting things to know. Rumors of odd people and places seem to come true if enough people believe them.
That's what this place is, right? It's the kind of thing a curious girl like me could dig: a nice vacation place that has its own layer of mystery, things to explore, while still being... relatively safe enough that others don't have to worry about me.
And if I wind up running into something that can kill me, then all I have to do is not anger it enough to want to try! I'd rather pick my own terms with my date with the Grim Sharpshooter after all.
